GameRoks At The NY Comic Convention.

Andrea, our Español editor, interviewed the major goofy and non-goofy characters at the convention. She was also investigative enough to score a quick chat with Sega reps about their upcoming Iron Man game. They claim the game promises “excessive” action, let’s hope they deliver.

Speaking of super heroes, Marvel Comics had a huge turn out, Activision presented its newest Spider Man game while Hulk got a teaser of an upcoming title with this “little” statue. As is to be expected at any comic convention, the nerd population was high, but at events like this, nerds and their hard-core costumes make the show. Jedis roamed the showroom floor alongside Japanese girls accurately disguised as their favorite Anime heroines.
When you think of Comic Convention you may only think of comics, but this year saw many of the video-game publishers and developers present, pleading the short-attention span of the attendees. Konami, Hudson, and others had elaborate booths displaying their current and upcoming titles. Toys, comics…girls, yes this year’s convention overflowed with pretty women wanting the latest scoops on Marvel Zombies comics and, the newest fad, Vinyl art toys. Will have the positives and negatives of the convention shortly, in the meantime enjoy this gallery of pics.
