Games I wished I Played When I Was Younger…

Typing of the dead is a gimmick for some, for me it’s something my gaming heart wishes had experienced. No gun needed for this shooter, just your incredibly deadly “QWERTY” keyboard. Back when SEGA still made consoles they released this nifty little machine called the Dreamcast, aun que ya no existe, the system had many memorable titles, este es uno de ellos.

Zombies attacking, salivating for your brain, only one way to stop the horrific impending death that awaits you, type the word “cactus” really fast. Obviously I survived not having learnt the art of typing at a whopping 87WPM from entrails oozing undead, that’s not to say I still don’t wish I had perfected my skills utilizing this unique approach. Con el Dreamcast mas que muerto, the game itself will be hard to find at your local game shop, of course money grubbing retro gamers will charge a premium for a bundled copy of the game including the SEGA Dreamcast official keyboard–you can’t use any keyboard, although the “official” one is the same as any other PC keyboard, the connector that only fits in the console’s port forces you to buy the SEGA branded one. Typing tutors are a dime a dozen, but I know if I was substitute teacher I would use this game to scare my students straight, and by scare I mean training them to be blazing fast secretaries, or cubicle consultants, what ever profession would allow them so wield efficient keyboards.

Due to the unfortunate realities of the so called “real world,” with a wife and other adult like responsibilities, I can’t justify spending the money to fulfill my childhood wish, granted I’ll be spending more money up-keeping my adult/kid at heart dream by buying next gen games… that’s not the point, I just wished I had played this when I was younger that’s all.
