Nintendo anuncio que promocionara su nueva consola portatil llevandola en gira por diferentes partes de los Estados Unidos. Residentes de estados como Michigan y Wisconsin podran subirse a un bus equipado con estaciones interactivas con DSi abordo. Busca el bus fantastico desde fines de Junio.

El avance oficial de Nintendo:

The portable fun of the new Nintendo DSi™ video game system will be on full display in cities nationwide this summer as the Nintendo DSi Mobile Tour rolls through festivals and special events from coast to coast. 

Throughout the summer, consumers across the United States will be invited to climb aboard a customized, interactive tour bus loaded with Nintendo DSi systems and software. Nintendo ambassadors will be on hand to show visitors the variety of entertainment and creative social fun offered by Nintendo DSi. Consumers will experience the system’s built-in cameras, sound-manipulation features and downloadable video games. Attendees also can enjoy access to a wealth of downloadable Nintendo DSiWare™ games from the online Nintendo DSi Shop. Visitors can print their original Nintendo DSi souvenir photos on the bus or store them online and download them from home after the event.

Some scheduled stops for the Nintendo DSi Mobile Tour include Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisc. (June 25-29), the Rothbury Festival in Rothbury, Mich. (July 2-5), the All Good Music Festival in Masontown, W.Va. (July 9-12), and the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago (July 17-19).

JayKam Opina: Stop Blaming Nintendo!

Nuestro querido Jason Kaminski se arto de que denigren tanto a Nintendo, enough already. Maybe you feel the same way as he does, does the Big N really deserve all the blame? Pero que piensan de lo que dice JayKam al respecto:

I think I really like the Wii again. It’s a good little system. I think it’s a bit unfair we keep blaming Nintendo in a way…I mean they gave us a Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Smash Bros. already this gen and yet we still bitch. We can buy Paper Mario (N64) for $10 or Super Mario RPG (SNES) for $8 which would go for a lot more currently in cartridge form. They brought us some unreleased Japanese goodness like Sin and Punishment and Super Mario Bros. 2 via the virtual console. I think the major problem is the lack of 3rd party goodness. It seems as like with the Gamecube we relied too much on Nintendo to bring us the triple AAA titles while the 3rd parties turned out lackluster crap and ports. The thing that drives me nuts is that they say most people just want better graphics than the Wii can provide but yet the PS2 still sells and new games still come out for the system. I think in the light of the downloadable games revolution, it’s obvious that it’s more about the gameplay and the vision rather than the spec sheet. With the Wii outselling the “other guys” month after month will the 3rd parties ever truly get it?
I would agree that the whole Wii branded games have taken a turn down a path that we’d rather not see but Wii Music is coming out far after the release of games like Zelda Twilight Princess. I also think with the recent showings of games like Punch-Out and Sin and Punishment 2 the Wii branded games are in fact in addition to and not instead of the more hardcore offerings. So is Nintendo really the one to blame?

Que opinas al respecto, se merece toda la culpa Wii por no ser de alta-difinicion, o por no tener 100 gigas de memoria? Este sistema esta que vende como pan caliente y los diseñadores que no aprovechan esto deberian ser castigados por ser vagos e ineptos, asi de simple.

Esta semana Sony fue demandado por supuestamente copiar la ideas de otros. Ahore le toca a Nintendo y su famoso Wii. Internal Trade Commision se encargara, segun Reuters, de probar si Wii violo patentes archivadas por Hillcrest Laboratories de Rockville, Maryland, alega que Nintendo uso su tecnologia que reconoce movimientos en su nueva maquina si su permiso.

Se tendra que ver que pasa con este caso ya que la ITC tiene el poder de poner un alto a la venta del popular Wii, es mas hasta puede prohibir la venta y la importacion de la consola hasta que se paguen los supuestos daños.

Un Descerebrado Deja El Colegio Para Jugar Guitar Hero y Ganarse Sanduches De Pollo.

A nadie le gusta la escuela, eso si es esencial para tu futuro. Por mas experto que seas en los vídeo-juegos, nunca deberías abandonarla por un sueño ridículo como jugar vídeo-juegos profesionalmente. Pueda que seas muy bueno pero honestamente, harás mas dinero limpiando baños públicos en un estadio de fútbol que lo que ganarías jugando profesionalmente. Desafiando la lógica y sus padres débiles, Blake Peebles de 16 años, dejo por completo el colegio para perseguir un futuro en los vídeo-juegos profesionales. Según el, se ha ganado hasta sanduches de pollo con su técnica, y para el eso es suficiente para demostrar que puede hacerlo como profesión. Parece que el pobre no tomo sus vitaminas de jovencito. Sensitive America Strikes Again Takes Down Beer Pong For Wii.

We all know beer is so “wrong.” In fact it is the most forbidden thing to even look at this country if you are minor. Unless you are one the millions of minors who attend college and play “ilegal” games of beer pong. Maybe these games should be played in dark basement a la Blood Sport with million of business men betting on the winner. Reality though is not that complicated and it seems many politicians to a blind eye to the so called enemy of beer. A game that was to be on top of my list to download was savagely raped by conservatite thought today. Beer Pong, Frat Party Games will have to be overhauled to see release. According to the Associated Press, the game was mistakenly given a a rating that would allow players as young as 13 to play. Although the creator of the game JV Studios, claims there are no depictions of people drinking beer, the mere mention of the word has lazy politicians up in arms, hoping to garb some spotlight by speaking out against such dangers of digital binge drinking. Didn’t the real beer pong, which many many college students including myself, exist before this game? The good news is that game will still see some kind of mutilated release, the bad, well lazy parenting wins again. The full story here.

1 and 5 Crazy Canadians Do It In The Nude, Play Video Games That Is.

According to a crazy and very real poll conducted by good old Bill Gates free Microsoft, 1 and 5 Canadian men admitted to have played video games in the nude. The poll did not mention weather or not they hay used the rumble feature on their controller to its maximum capacity. Teen Crime Spree Inspired By Grand Theft Auto, Nico Bellic Is Real?

Teen Crime Spree Inspired By Grand Theft Auto

Six teenagers were in court today following an all-night crime spree that began late Wednesday night and lasted into the early morning hours. The six teens allegedly began the evening with a mugging outside of a Nassau County, New York supermarket, eventually parading down a Garden City street carrying baseball bats and a crow bar, robbing one motorist and smashing a passing vehicle with a bat. What would cause such behavior in our impressionable young teens? Grand Theft Auto, of course.

“It was determined that they were emulating the character in that Grand Theft Auto game, going on a crime spree” using weapons and tactics inspired by the controversial video game, said Det. Sgt. Anthony Repalone, a Nassau police spokesman.

I’m sorry but there have been plenty of crimes before GTA and to keep blaming senseless violence on that is just plain dumb…maybe not dumb just fucking annoying. These kids go out and rob a car and smash some things, and blame it on a video games. Kids are not stupid, adults are, most of them anyway. Or just plain ignorant. Crimes like this have been going on way before violent games like GTA have been around and will continue to go on. Some kids are just what you call assholes. What happened to just being an asshole. Hell, I’m friends with 90% assholes and they don’t even play video games, fuck, one doesn’t even have a TV. If adults or people need a scapegoat to blame these stupid crimes on try there parents. These crimes were commited late Wednesday night, that’s a god damn school night, they should be in bed or better yet, go play some video games maybe it will occupy your time better. The headline shouldnt be “Crime Spree Inspired by Grand Theft Auto,” it should be “Crime Spree Caused From Being an Asshole.” Anyway, in conclusion some people are just assholes and the Grand Theft Auto excuse is played out kids so try a new one. Young Boy Hangs Himself After Wii Argument.

According to the Telegraph, an English newspaper, a 13-year-old boy hung hilmself after arguing with his sister about putting in some time with Wii. His parent’s claim the boy never had prior rage issues that would predict such behavior, Apparently, Jake Roberts was upset after coming home to play Wii only to find his sister watching TV. What ensued was a temper tantrum followed by a grizzly discovery.

“His school tie was round his neck and he was hung from his cabin bed. I tried to lift him and his tie was attached to a bar on the bed.”

Nintendo To Spill Some Secrets During E3. Nintendo Anunciara Nuevos Juegos.

Si ya te has cansado de aprender Yoga, Nintendo promete que anunciara juegos dedicados a los hardcore. Ojala no sea Mario Bla Bla, la verdad que el panzón ya cansa. Marc Franklin, Director de Relacione Publicas De Nintendo dijo, “we will be announcing several new titles that core gamers will be interested in around the time of E3.” Básicamente, habrá juegos para los que nos gusta la acción mas adulta.
